1. Introduction

Welcome to Simply Booked! These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Simply Booked mobile application and website (collectively “the App”). By accessing or using this App, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the App.

Simply Booked is a platform designed to help users discover, book, and manage beauty and wellness services across salons nationwide. These Terms apply to all users, including customers, salon owners, and service providers.

2. License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Simply Booked grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license excludes any resale, commercial use, or derivative works of the App or its contents.

3. User Accounts & Registration

  • Users must register an account with accurate and up-to-date information to access certain features.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities under your account.
  • Simply Booked reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent, abusive, or policy-violating activities.

4. Booking & Payment Terms

Booking Appointments

  • Users can browse salons and book services based on availability and pricing set by individual service providers.
  • Appointment schedules and prices are managed directly by the service providers.

Payments

  • Payments may be made via credit/debit cards, Simply Booked Wallet, or other approved methods.
  • Simply Booked is not responsible for pricing errors or disputes between users and service providers.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • User-Initiated: Refunds depend on each salon’s cancellation policy.
  • Salon-Initiated: Users may receive a full refund or reschedule the appointment.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.

5. Responsibilities of Service Providers

  • Salon owners must ensure that business information, pricing, and service availability are accurate.
  • Simply Booked may remove or suspend listings due to repeated cancellations, poor ratings, or policy violations.
  • Service providers are solely responsible for the quality and delivery of their services.

6. User Conduct & Obligations

By using the App, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information in your profile and bookings.
  • Respect service providers, staff, and their respective policies.
  • Avoid fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity on the platform.
  • Refrain from harassing, offending, or disrupting other users’ experience.

Prohibited behavior includes sharing obscene content, impersonation, or interfering with the normal operation of the App.

7. User-Generated Content

Any content you upload (text, images, videos, or other materials) constitutes “User Content.” You grant Simply Booked a global, royalty-free, non-exclusive, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, publish, and distribute such content in connection with operating and promoting the App.

You affirm that you own or have the right to share such content and that it doesn’t infringe on third-party rights.

8. Your Data Rights & Choices

You may at any time:

  1. Access and update your profile information.
  2. Opt out of promotional email or notification services.
  3. Request account and data deletion.
  4. Request a copy of your data under applicable data protection regulations.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property, design, trademarks, and content within the App are owned by Simply Booked or its licensors. No right or license is granted other than viewing the content for lawful personal use.

10. Third-Party Services & Links

The App may contain links or integrations with third-party websites or services. Simply Booked is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or policies. Users are encouraged to review third-party terms before engaging with those platforms.

11. Modification of Terms & Payment Policy

Simply Booked reserves the right to modify these Terms, as well as the Payment Policy, at any time. Updates will be published within the App or sent via email. Continued usage following changes signifies acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Warranties Disclaimer

The App and its services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Simply Booked makes no express or implied warranties, including but not limited to functionality, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

13. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Simply Booked, its directors, partners, or employees be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Simply Booked, its affiliates, and staff from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of the App or breach of these Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.

16. Assignment

Simply Booked may assign, transfer, or subcontract its rights and obligations under these Terms without prior notice. You may not assign or transfer your rights without written consent.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the full and final agreement between you and Simply Booked concerning your use of the App and supersede all previous understandings or agreements.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oman.
